Upgrade components
Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is utilized. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as an incentive, or even created with crafting materials. Upgrades can have cosmetic effects in addition to offering bonus points for attributes.
Upgrade components can include inscriptions, enhancements, and infusions. They are not generally accessible for general use, and they are only available to Ascended equipment or other weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be retrieved from equipment by using an Infusion Extraction Device or salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items can be exchanged and reused while still attached to the item that is being upgraded. These upgrades are the best option to boost quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium in the sense that they increase the odds of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.
An upgrade component placed in an item may be replaced with a different one but it is not able to replace the original (except for upgrades to legendaries and equipment with ascended levels). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or higher can include upgrade components them. When you upgrade a weapon that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the new item as it appears in game (for example, adding the Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can only own up to three upgrade items at one time.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a great addition to any product. They offer unique benefits and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, which increases its power. These glyphs are available through dungeons, and some be found in certain World Tier 3 areas. It is important to keep in mind that glyphs can only be used by characters who have created a dungeon that has the same depth.
To make use of a Glyph, you must first build it from components and connect them to anchors. The component will then automatically align itself to other components or paths within the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph with components, you can make use of the combination of anchors and paths. Drag an element near a component highlighted to snap it in its place.
Certain glyphs require specific conditions to be met, such as 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a particular number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which could be a challenge to attain. Certain glyphs also have a radius, which increases as you move up.
Glyphs are used for a wide variety of items, and are added to any weapon, except for weapons of a particular class. Certain glyphs have conditional requirements for example, like having a certain amount of Dexterity or Attack damage in a specific area on the Paragon board.
item upgrader of preventing enemy attacks by 5percent. It also has the chance of 15%, making the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are also a handful of glyphs that can be applied to tools that are limited-use, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. The addition of these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most common glyphs are the attack glyphs, which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. These glyphs are particularly useful for classes that rely on ranged weapons, such as Warriors or Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph, which makes enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to being damaged.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are special tokens that are used to roll back one of the results when performing an Action. They are discarded after the reroll has occurred. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, including raids and dungeons, or through participation in skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the shops, or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials, since they allow players to reroll rewards at the bottom of the chest.
Recycle point values are provided for items at level 1. When recycle an item, it will add a specific amount of points to the upgrade gauge. This value scales according to the item's level and rarity. Additionally the upgraded item won't keep its level after rerolling, and the cost for recycling an upgraded item goes up with the level of the item.
Alternatively, a player can make use of reroll tokens to make an upgrade item rerollable however, this won't bring the item back to its original state or provide its original extra stats. This is useful for those who want to reroll a product they don't like but still would like to keep it in their collection.
There are three kinds of upgrade tokens available in the game: reroll random, and upgrade. Each type comes with a couple of subtypes. Reroll tokens, for instance are available in three categories: rare, legendary and enhanced. Each requires a product of the respective level to produce a new item with the same quality.
To use rerolling tokens choose "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Then, choose a type of token. The available tokens include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. Using an Item token will result in the creation of a new Item of any type. Making use of the Weapon or Misc token will result in an entirely new weapon belonging to the same faction.
The item may also be upgraded to a different item with similar stats, but at a higher level. This could happen when the item is placed in the Pool that is not droppable or was transferred to it as part of the Franchise Card.
